Appointment Policy

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that your pet be up to date with all vaccinations or at very least a Rabies vaccine. Please note that if you are coming in for an appointment and your pet does not have a Rabies vaccine he or she will get one so long as they are healthy enough to do so.

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, during the week we operate primarily by appointment.

On Saturdays we take walk-ins from 8:30 to 12:30 and it is first come first serve. We are generally very busy during this time and ask that you please have patience with us. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, this may cause an occasional appointment delay. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time

Drop Offs: For your convenience, ‘drop-off’ appointments are available. Usually we will ask you to ‘drop off’ sometime in the morning (usually between 7:30 and 8am) so Dr. Mcknight can examine your pet in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once he is done one of our staff will give you a call to discuss further needs and set up a time for you to come back to talk to Dr. Mcknight.

Patient Arrival Policy: Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. We ask that you please keep all dogs on a short leash or in a carrier and all cats come in a carrier (pillow case is fine)

Payment Policy: We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit, and American Express.
